Unknown Beauty is a brand that is about more than just looking good. It is about feeling good in the clothing. Everyone has immense beauty, inside or outside, and Unknown Beauty wants to remind people of that. Bringing out the wonderful parts of each individual is the brand’s goal. In other words, finding your Unknown Beauty.
Unknown Beauty is a self-initiated clothing brand that I built from the ground up. It allowed me to explore design through a multidisciplinary lens. I led every aspect of the brand’s creation, from designing the full apparel range and developing the website to crafting all visual touchpoints, including packaging and social content. I planned and directed photoshoots for the products and shaped the visual language. For the logo, I wanted a bold symbol that was versatile enough to use in various ways on clothing and other areas. The question mark stands for unknown, and the heart stands for beauty, though it was fun to hear how everyone who encountered the brand interpreted the logo in their own unique ways. I am very proud of this project, and it reflects my ability to build a brand holistically, balancing concept, craft, and consistency across both digital and physical platforms.
