Queenstown, New Zealand, is a picturesque resort town located on the shores of Lake Wakatipu in the South Island’s Otago region. Surrounded by the dramatic Southern Alps, it’s known for its breathtaking landscapes, vibrant adventure tourism, and year-round outdoor activities. Often dubbed the “adventure capital of the world,” Queenstown offers everything from bungee jumping and skydiving to skiing and jet boating. In addition to its adrenaline-fuelled attractions, the town is also a gateway to world-class vineyards, luxury lodges, and scenic hiking trails. Its lively atmosphere, stunning alpine scenery, and mix of relaxation and thrill-seeking make it one of New Zealand’s most popular travel destinations.

For the Queenstown tourism branding and postcard, I incorporated the town’s spirited energy and stunning natural beauty. The design uses bold typography and a colour palette inspired by the vibrance that the destination exudes. I combined dynamic shapes of Queenstown’s landscapes with energetic colours to reflect its adventurous and wild spirit. The result is a fresh, energetic visual identity that celebrates both the thrill and natural beauty of the "adventure capital of the world."
